April showers

This month we were blessed to have 3 baby showers! Our wonderful friends at DTS, our English outreach group, and our SF small group all put on showers for us. Thanks, everyone, for all your love, kindness and gifts. We thank God for you.

Our SF group baby shower was a surprise, so we have no pictures. But we were genuinely surprised!

We thank God that everything continues to go well with the pregnancy. Our most immediate prayer request is that we will be prepared whenever the baby decides to shows up (right now we're at 37.5 weeks, so it could be any time now). We both have a bunch of papers and reading (plus an exegetical, sermon, exam and grading work for Derek) to finish before the semester ends on May 9, and we are nowhere near ready in terms of setting up the room and buying supplies, etc. Pray that we'll be done with our work before he/she comes, and that we'll trust in God's perfect timing whatever happens and whenever it happens.
