Heading north...

Hello! Here we are, just enjoying a warm, short-sleeved spring weekend in Coeur d'Alene. Tomorrow, we will bundle up in our winter jackets and head up to *COLD* Canada for two weeks. (Last we checked, the temp was still in the 30s!)

While in our Canadian office, Chantal will meet with John Cross and missionaries Peter & Leah Humphreys to work on her book Sweeter Than Honey. Derek will work on the Web and on initial logistics for GS's next India trip (scheduled for 2008).

What is the status of Sweeter Than Honey?
Chantal submitted her draft to John earlier this year and he was happy with the overall content. In Canada, we will go over it for accuracy with the missionaries and work on smoothing and polishing it. Then it will need to go through more rounds of editing, proofreading, etc., to get it ready for publication.

Prayer requests:
This has been a long project, but God's grace has been evident in the process. Please continue to pray for patience and creativity, and that the final product would edify the body of Christ.

Pray for a safe trip to and from Canada and for a fruitful time there. Pray that in our ministry we will always remember Whom we are serving and "work at it with all our heart, as working for the Lord, not for men."

We are excited that Chantal's parents, sister and brother will be visiting briefly when we come back from Canada at the end of May. This is the first time her side of the family is visiting Coeur d'Alene and GoodSeed. Then we'll all head to Michigan for Chantal's cousin's wedding. Pray that this will be a special and encouraging time for all!

Thank you for your prayers!

Beautiful Coeur d'Alene is studded with blossoming cherry trees at this time of year. We still welcome any visitors before we head out to Dallas in August (hint, HINT)!
