After three weeks of exhaustion and fighting a BAD cold virus, our family is finally back to "normal" again. We still have some sniffles and coughs here and there, but at least Evan is back to his old, happy self and is sleeping better at night. Thanks for the prayers! Derek and I are also back into the swing of things at school.
Please pray for us as we tackle this new semester and for Derek as he continues with his pastoral internship at our church. He will be teaching Sunday school and preaching this semester, as well as meeting regularly with Pastor Edward, his mentor, and observing meetings and special events.
Another special prayer request we have is for future direction. There is still more than a year to go, but it's time to make plans and preparations as to where we will be headed after graduation. We would like to be involved with overseas missions in some capacity. Please pray that we'll be sensitive to God's leading and that we'll make the right connections with the right people at the right time!
