9 months old

Today Evan is 3/4 of a year old! I am reminded of a saying about raising kids: "The days are long, but the years are short." Seriously, where did the time go?

These days, Evan weighs about 18 lb and has five teeth. He is an expert crawler and follows us all around the apartment to the bathroom, kitchen, etc. He loves to stand up while holding on to furniture. He takes two good naps and eats solids three times a day (and tasted meat for the first time today!). He knows his name and understands "no" and (maybe?) the words we use for food, milk and sleep. He loves to play with other kids and squeals with delight whenever he sees his friends Dayne, Jean, Eliana, Jeremy, Lucas and Gracie. He is a delight and we are so thankful for him!
