Wow! I feel so loved. This week, people have been bringing various gifts of food to us. Stewed beef from Judy (and soup last week too), tea eggs from Elaine, dumplings from Kim, pork from John and Catherine. Is it just a coincidence that this is one of the busier weeks for both of us? (Derek is preaching his first sermon and I have a 10-page paper and a weekend class.) God's provision and the love of the body of Christ are amazing. Thank you, friends!
Meanwhile...we went to the doctor today and everything looks A-ok. The baby is growing and thriving. Doc said my weight gain is a little above average (22 lbs so far at 29.5 weeks). Either this kid will be a big one, or it looks like I'll have to start fighting my insatiable sweet tooth.
