We're still here!

Thank you so much for your prayers. We apologize for the lack of updates recently.

A prayer update since our last one:

• Our church search has been fruitful. Fellowship with other believers has been a blessing. We are still praying for wisdom to decide between joining one established church or its smaller church plant, and which ministries to participate in. We will have lunch with the pastor at the church plant this weekend to find out more about it.
  

• Just last week, Chantal's boss finally found another assistant to help out with the work load...that's an answered prayer.
  

• School is going well and we have been adjusting better to managing time in seminary. Classes are great and we both feel we are learning a lot! With finals just around the corner, we need continued prayers for diligence and discipline.

In addition to school and work, we have had to deal with a few "glitches" in life — hardware problems in both of our computers (resulting in having to buy some new equipment) and dental problems (resulting in a string of dental procedures over two months).

Although in perspective these are just minor things, we have been learning that things in life may break down...computers, our bodies... but we have all the more reason to "fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal" (2 Cor 4:18).
