Two semesters down

We're done with Semester #2! There are just NO BREAKS at all in seminary (hence the lack of posts). It's just paper after project after test. Maybe over the summer we'll update our blog with everything that happened over the past 10 months.

For now, a few noteworthy things:

1. Congratulations to my brother Samuel for finishing his undergraduate education! He graduates today from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and will be starting grad school on the same campus in the fall. Congrats also to all of our DTS friends who graduated yesterday.

2. Happy Mother's Day to both of our moms and grandmas. We love you!

3. The long-awaited GoodSeed book for polytheists and pantheists, By This Name, is out. We tested this book out during our India/Singapore/Korea trip last year and the response was great. We're so glad it's finally in print! Check it out (a full PDF version is available for download, too).

4. We were given the exciting opportunity to go to Israel and Jordan for a 3-week field study course. We will be leaving tomorrow. We will take classes about the geography and history of the land and then actually get to see the places in the Bible (and then we get quizzed on them!). If you think of us, please pray that our time in Israel would be safe and fruitful. We will be back on June 5. Thanks!
