Derek and I are in Singapore again, staying at our hosts' house, after two weeks in India. We praise God for a profitable time in India. The two seminars went very well, we had no hassles at customs and immigration coming in and out, we were all healthy except for some sniffles, and we enjoyed our fellowship with the Indian believers immensely. We thank God for the opportunity to experience a predominantly Hindu culture (in Chennai, S. India) and a nominal Christian/animistic culture (in Dimapur, NE India). As John tests out the polytheistic version of The Stranger, we are getting some good input and feedback!
We will write more and post some pictures as our schedule permits, but for now we just wanted to let everyone know that we are safe and sound.
Please continue to pray for the TERM seminar in Singapore. It started on Feb. 6 and will continue on to Feb. 11. Currently we have 30-something participants. Pray that the participants would come away in awe of the word of God and be prepared to share the Gospel effectively with their neighbors! Pray for John and Derek as they teach too; Derek has a cold right now and his voice may not be at its best.
Thank you for your prayers!
