Anyhow, I thought I'd report on a few things happening here this week:
- A team of GoodSeeders are at a Moldovan seminary teaching a series of TERM seminars. (Where in the world is Moldova?) As John teaches in English, his lessons are simultaneously translated into Russian AND Romanian for the students. GS had to bring over a bunch of high-tech audio equipment to accomplish that task. Pray for stamina for them as they finish the last week of seminars!
- The Portuguese translation of The Stranger on the Road to Emmaus and the Spanish translation of The Lamb have been signed off. They are at the printer now. Pray that they would get printed efficiently and that these books would bless many people! (We know that missionaries in Brazil have been waiting for the Portuguese translation for quite a while.)
- A missionary reports that he taught The Stranger at a pastors conference for 68 Mexican pastors. When they got to the chapter on the Ten Commandments, the pastors were so convicted of sin they were all bawling!
- Currently, number of GS staff are hosting their own Bible studies in their homes for unbelieving friends and neighbors using The Stranger. There are so many spiritually hungry people, even in North Idaho. It is so encouraging to hear the Lord working through our co-workers!
